If you are having issues with your device, It may help first to perform a reflash using the following procedure:
- Open up MODALapp on your device of choice
- Ensure SKULPTsynthesiser is connected
- Press the Modal logo in the top left and press ABOUT. This will bring up the current app version window.
- Press and hold on this window for 5 seconds. It will close on its own. You now have access to synth recovery tools until you restart the app
- Press the Modal Logo in the top left of MODALapp
- Go to TOOLS > SKULPT > REFLASH SKULPT
- Follow the on-screen instructions to recover your synth.
If the above doesn't help, please try the following to reset your SKULPTsynthesiser back to its factory state:
*Please note performing the following function will remove any user edited patches. Please ensure you follow our guide here on how to export patches.
- Hold the following 4 buttons whilst you power on your SKULPT
- A sequence of lights will progress and the process takes around a minute.
- Once the process is complete, your synth will restart with factory defaults and be ready for use.
